OAPGG is hosting an online, live basic training for counselors seeking certification for problem gambling.

The training will take place over four days: April 5 and 12 and May 3 and 10, 2023. Each day will begin at 8:30 and end at 4:30, with a one-hour break for lunch.

Registration is free for those in the Midwest Conference on Problem Gambling and Substance Abuse region (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma), with funding from the Kansas City Port Authority Problem Gambling Fund Advisory Committee.

Participants who complete the training will receive 30 hours of CEUs and will be eligible to join the case consultation group.
