BASIC TRAINING

Each spring and fall, OAPGG offers a 30-hour basic training on problem gambling. In addition to information about the diagnosis and treatment of problem gambling, the training also features Oklahoma-specific information on gambling history and prevalence and up-to-date information on sports betting, esports, and gaming addiction.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The National Council on Problem Gambling and its affiliates recognize March as Problem Gambling Awareness Month. Each March, OAPGG hosts an annual conference featuring local and national speakers. The conference is an opportunity to connect with colleagues and experts in the field of problem gambling and to stay up-to-date with with training.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING

OAPGG also works with partners across the state to provide additional training for counselors as well as others who may come into contact with those struggling with problem gambling or gaming. Training includes mindfulness, supervision, cultural awareness, ethics, and more.

PREVALENCE OF PROBLEM GAMBLING IN OKLAHOMA
